Funny after all the imaginative guesses, Gibbs got the boat out by the most obvious

means. I won't be surprised if he does a future cameo at some point, but that
episode was supposed to be his last. There are apparently no plans in place for any
return. Mark Harmon is 70, so maybe wants to enjoy his remaining years without being
tied to work.
