Deavere Smith), and who offers Jackie something she
desperately needs a friend.
"Nurse Jackie" also stars Merritt Wever, Dominic
Fumusa, Paul Schulze, Betty Gilpin, Ruby Jerins,
Stephen Wallem, Mackenzie Aladjem and Peter
Facinelli. Clyde Phillips serves as showrunner and
executive producer. Tom Straw, Richie Jackson, Liz
Flahive and Caryn Mandabach also executive produce.
The series is a co-production between Showtime and
Lionsgate.
Best known to television audiences as the
obsessive-compulsive detective Adrian Monk, a role
which earned him four straight Emmy nominations and
three wins, Shalhoub has been starring in hit
television and movie projects for years, including
the long-running sitcom "Wings," and both Men in
Black and Men in Black II.
