It is true. I died my hair red once and in about 2 weeks it was back to blonde.

Not that Celebrity Hairstyle magazine is the most beievable of magazines
( "you can have this elaborate hairstyle in just five minutes! All it takes is
a handful of mousse and a blowdryer!!!" Yeah, right.) But, it did say that
L.L. is a natural redhead, and that she also uses dye to keep the color
vibrant. (Anyone out there who has ever aspired to red hair can testify to how
fast it fades...even when it's natural.) Truth, or fiction? You decide.

Didn't you see the "Where were the stars of MP years ago?" special?
They showed her a few years back & she was UNRECOGNIZABLE. And also
MOUSY. I.e., not redheaded. [And also CHEESY. Singing & dancing in
the cheesiest troupe I've seen in a long time.] Alas, we cannot all
be gifted with naturally red hair ["ahem," she said, pointing to her
own naturally red top]; but dye job or no, Sidney's hair makes her the
most beautiful chick on the show. [Though i AM biased.]

It's not unusual for someone to be born a red-head and then for the color
to change as he/she becomes older. My brother was a red-head and now, at
twenty-seven, has brown hair, but tons of freckles. She probably dyes
her hair for the vibrant color.

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that Laura is a natural redhead. Her
coloring (skin color and freckles) go very well with her hair. She looked
awful in the brown color she had in the special.

I'm a redhead and look awful with any other color hair. It just doesn't
match my skin tones.
