"Darren has clearly demonstrated that he is the perfect person to take
these stories of contemporary and complicated relationships and bring
them to the screen," said Albrecht. "The comedy series will reveal the
hidden truths about sex and dating in the '90s. I'm delighted that we
can bring this fascinating world to life for our subscribers."
"SEX AND THE CITY belongs on HBO," noted Star. "I can't think of
another place that would give us the freedom to produce this candid and
comical take on contemporary sex and relationships."
