The Ultimate, Part II

I'm just starting Season 8, and I just had to let you guys know how
great this book is! There is SO MUCH detail!! This is definitely going
to be a resource I'm going to keep by my TV chair, so I can freshen up
on the material before I watch each episode :)
So far, I only have a few minor comments, and a couple of questions; but
I don't want anything to get in the way of my most sincere compliments
for your efforts and results. I AM SOOOOOOOO IMPRESSED!! I know Elsig
would be so proud of both of you.
I'll post again when I finish the book!

Thanks for the update, Hallie. I'am patiently waiting for my
copy to arrive from Amazon.CA. Unfortuantely, it won't be here
for 2-4 weeks. This is cruel and unusual punishment, but I look
forward to hearing more about the book. :)

I like all the little notes for each episode, especially the comments
by actors you'd never expect to hear from. For example, Michael
O'Keefe talking about his time on the M*A*S*H set during 'War Of
Nerves", and Harvey J Goldenberg talking about his time in "Dobbs" and
"Showtime".
Without spoiling the reading for anyone who's not up to it yet,
Goldenberg talks about an extended scene that was cut in "Showtime",
which would have been very funny. Wish they had've kept it in.

Wouldn't it be better to watch the episode first, then review it in the
book? Especially if it's been some time since you've seen it and don't
recall all the details. You can always go back to the episode and rewatch
a scene if you missed something the book mentions.

There are so many fun details in the book, I want to see what bloopers,
etc., I should be looking for in the show! I've seen all the episodes
dozens of times; but don't have them on tape. So I wouldn't be able to
rewatch until Hallmark shows it again :)
