Okay, you guys have to understand that the reason that spearchucker Jones all
of the sudden disapeared is because, it was not write to use the words
"spear chucker". And that was a racist name for an african person. By just
eliminating him without notice was the best way to go about it. I mean if
you were to think logically than you could see this. You should know that
there was african surgeons at that time, and they did help out a great deal
during the Korean War. Do you realize that africans have been fighting "with
us" since the Cival war. or maybe you didn't!!
I don't know it just seems like a bit of ignorance on your part.

He was called "Spear Chucker" because he had been a great javelin
thrower
in school, before he became a doctor. The character was dropped because
they found out that there were NO African-American doctors in MASH units
in Korea.
