Is it true that Erin was the real daughter of BJ?
Did she actually appear on the show (in photographs etc.?)
And what does she do now - is she an actress?
Did any other characters have children/wives etc. named after their own?

Erin is the real name of Mike Farrell's daughter. I don't know whether
her real picture was ever seen on MASH. She graduated from college in the
East a year ago, and is now in London studying acting.

I once saw a TV interview with Erin Farrell and Michael Farrell(Son)
All I really remember is Erin saying how it was neat that her dad was on
TV and he referred to his TV daughter as Erin. Michael F. talked about how
he felt cheated that the show had not created a "son figure" for BJ
Hunnicut.
At the time I saw this(which was several years ago), they were both
college age.
Would love to know where they are now.

The interview with Mike Farrell's kids was a "family album" segment on
"Memories of M*A*S*H," the 20th anniversary special that aired on CBS.

Mike, Jr. is in Los Angeles, also bitten by the acting bug, just like his
sister, Erin, who is studying acting in London.
Can't understand why they'd pick acting. Their father acts, their mother,
Judy Farrell, played a nurse on M*A*S*H, and Mike's second wife is Shelley
Fabares of "Coach" (and when much younger, the teenager who sang "Johnny
Angel.")

Alan Alda's daughters acted for a while. Don't know if they're still at
it. Gary Burhoff's daughter is in LA attempting to carve out an acting
career.
