I suspect something pithy honed from his witstone (whetstone) of
humor.
What say you my good man? :)

I've never met Larry in person, though I'm sure I would have
enjoyed it.

I'm not sure what Mr. G. would say, but I have a quick question. After
Bob Hope's death, he sent me a copy of the speech he had done at Mr.
Hope's eulogy. Unfortunately, it went bye-bye with that computer (a
few computers ago!). Anyone else have a copy? I assume that it might
follow along those lines.
I miss him, and I never even met him personally!
I know you mean well, but It would be shallow, moronic and frightening
to assume I could come close to knowing what words might come out of
Larry Gelbart's mouth with regard to the "fuss." In my opinion, his
contribution to entertainment and to the world deserves all the fuss it
can get.
jm
Someone told me he was fond of the following for a final message;
"Finally, a plot."
jm
My thought was based on the humbleness which Mr Gelbart displayed here
with his admiring fans. I got the impression he was as modest as he
was funny. I didn't assume you would know what he would say. I did
assume however you might / would have your own anecdotal memories
about the man that would help lighten the feeling(s) of sadness and
loss about his death.
I guessed (ASSumed) incorrectly, sorry.

As frightening as your 10-consecutive days cooking,
"liver or fish?"
