Hey Kirsten! I think you'd have a run for your money over that "biggest
fan" title. I used to have a bumper sticker that said "I love Alan
Al-da time!" :)

But we can share! ;)

Ah, you two gals can keep him. I can't imagine what you see
in him. Big bundle of insecurity who has trouble relating to
women. Remember the episode the nurse arrived, he knew from
back when. He proposed himself into a corner.

I'll admit to having a crush on a couple of the (female)
nurses.

Klinger is a fun character, and a great actor. But, I'm
allergic to tobacco, and he needs a shave.

Thanks for the wiki link. I did enjoy reading that. I had
sensed that he's a bit left leaning in his politics. Glad
someone else mentioned that. He does look a lot older, 35
years later.

Alan Alda (b. Jan. 28, 1936)

He was only 36 when M*A*S*H started.
Now look at him in the pic at the above link.

'Carlye Walton' (Blythe Danner) was the best visiting
nurse and had the
best story line of all the 'love' stories on M*A*S*H! I
wish she would have
been seen again on M*A*S*H, but I guess that would have
destroyed her great
one-time appearance.

"The More I See You" (1976) is my all-time favorite
'love story' in any
of the M*A*S*H love episodes.

Henry also noticed his legs needed a shave.

You "sensed" he's a bit left leaning? Gee, I thought that was pretty
obvious.
