Hi All!

I have part of a quote about Hawkeye stuck in my head and I was wondering
whether or no any of y'all out there can help me with the rest of it,
including WHO said it and under WHAT circumstances.

Ok, here it goes, it's very fragmented:

"Anger turned inside is.............Anger turned sideways is Hawkeye."

Anyone out there have the rest?

Thanks!
Kel

The exact quote is:

"Anger turned inward is depression. Anger turned outward is Hawkeye."

It was said by Dr. Sidney Freedman on episode where he visits
the 4077th for a poker game, but stays for a about a week longer. He's
very upset about a patient of his who committed suicide. He is writing
a letter to Sigmund Freud describing the members of the 4077th. Also,
during this episode, B.J. is busy pulling pranks on the other members of
the 4077th and nobody suspects it is him. The name of the episode is
"Dear Sigmund", which occured during the 5th season -- 1976 - 1977.

Sidney Friedman wrote that in a letter to Sigmund Frued (Sidney's psychiatrist)
but I'm not sure about the quotation.

The actual quote is "Anger turned inward is depression. Anger turned outward
is agression. Anger turned sideways is Hawkeye."

I'm very sure of the triple structure of the quote and the final line.

I haven't a clue, thought it sounds familiar. It did remind me of a
Hawkeye quote I wanted to verify though.

From the episode where Frank wants to leave the 4077th but Hawk and
Trapper convince him there's gold in them thar hills:

(Frank is telling Henry he wants to leave)

Hawk: "Henry, are you really going to grant this idiot's request?"

Margaret: "That's MAJOR to you!"

Hawk: "Henry, are you really going to grant this *major* idiot's
request?"

I think it's pretty close, but I was staying with relatives who live
with the mass transit line quite literally in their backyard, and the
train came by at that particular moment. Can anyone fill in/correct
anything of it for me? It had me laughing out loud but I want to make
sure I have ir right.

Thanks!
