ah nostalgia
I'm afraid I don't.
But why ruin the fantasy? Afterall, it was 20 years ago and I'm sure
she won't look the same!!! :-)
Damot.
Hmm. I'd have sworn I posted a response to this last night, but even
going through google it should have come up by now.
Well, anyway, the part's name was Ms. Jones. I know that calls up a
whole 'nother picture, but that's what Higgins called her when he
spoke to her. This was in the episode "Three Minus Two," the last
aired of the second season.
I just checked tvtome.com, by the way, and unless Ms. Jones's first
name was Lani and I missed then I guess the actress didn't get a
credit. I'd be surprised at that for a speaking role - even just one
line - but there's no Ms. Jones in the characters.
On the other hand, I don't really remember who Lani was in that
episode. Anyone else?
The "BB" may have blown up by now! LOL!
I know she got a credit, he added, shamefacedly admitting he checked at the
time. No idea what it was though.
<< On the other hand, I don't really remember who Lani was in that

Lani was played by Julia Nickson, aka Julie Nickson-Soul (wife of David) -
however, her IMDB listing only shows one MPI credit:
"Magnum, P.I." (1980) playing "Carla, Rose's henchwoman" (as Julia Nickson) in
episode: "Legacy from a Friend" (episode # 3.18) 10 March 1983
So now I'm even more confused.
Guess I need to re-watch that episode to get us all unconfoozed.
Can't tonight, though - got a dinner date!
I wouldn't be at all surprised if JNS is our culprit; she's a very pretty asian
girl, which would fit the description. Then again, isn't that the ep with a
bunch of models in it?
Bev in Kaka`ako
It is, and for the record, "Lani" is one of those models - the first
one on the runway in the opening scene. Bikini Lady (who looks more
Oriental to me than Lani, by the way) is referred to only as "Ms.
Jones." Just watched it all the way through to be sure. Since no
"Ms. Jones" appears in the credits, though, unless an insider comes
along I guess the actress's name will remain a mystery.
