Gillian Dobbs hasn't been in the phone book for some years.

I could make a couple of phone calls to see if she is still seeing her
regular dentist. I used to know the receptionist.

But I think that is pushing the envelope of civility. Besides, if she
isn't in the phone book, when she was listed before - - that says a lot.
It could mean that she isn't available for work.

I once asked the casting director, Margaret Doversola, why she was
listed. "I don't hide," was part of her reply.

Ms Dobb must be past retirement age by now- ---lets hope she is well and
happy . . .
The dentist's receptionist said that she was just the same in real life.

Sweet, sweet old dear. I knew so many of her type in Ireland/England. Let's
hope she's enjoying paradise and her retirement.
