Why didn't Fox push MADtv like NBC pushed SNL?

I just remember Fox never made a big deal about them the way NBC does
with SNL, even with guest appearances. Hugh Laurie appeared very soon
on SNL after House (a Fox show) got good ratings. Rarely did you see
home grown Fox stars appear on MADtv first.
Why didn't Fox try to boost their own show?

Because Fox wants their shows to fail. They just love to cancel shows.
