Helen Hunt aka Jamie Buchman was not in that or any other James Bond
movie -- in fact she explicitly 'denied' it in an interview two years
ago. As you've already noted, Helene Hunt is being confused with Helen
Hunt (and there has been more than one Helen Hunt as well),

They're not. And nor was Helen Hunt involved with the hair-dressing
chores on the "Caine Mutiny" in 1954 (at least as the Internet Movie
DB claims, I don't know about MS Cinemania), since she was born on
June 15, 1963.

Excuse me:
Maybe it's because I'm over forty and my memory fades in and
out on me....
I know 1983 is ancient history, but did the last existing
print of "Octopussy" perish in the fire of the Great Library of
Alexandria, along with the unknown works of Ptolemy, Hypatia
and Sophocles? Or was the script written in some language
forgotten by history, and untranslatable by contemporary
scholars?
It seems to me that if you're that curious about whether
Helen Hunt appears as a Bond Girl, then *watching the movie*
would not constitute such an intolerable research assingment.
Don't take me seriously, just ribbing you...
