Notable TV Guest Appearances
"Lost" playing "Alex Rousseau" in episode: "Genesis: Part 1" (episode
# 2.1) 21 September 2005
Don't know if someone here was the source, but I recall a post saying
that the woman on the boat looked like former Survivor winner Tina
Wesson (age 44). With that substantiation that anything can be added
to the imdb listings, I think it safe to disregard the announcement
that Samuel L. Jackson will play Rose's husband, Bernard.

If this true, it's a huge mistake.
Tina from Survivor is too tongue-in-cheek. And who knows if she can act or
not.
Sam Jackson is one of the best in the business, but I think he's too much of
a big star for this role. On the other hand, it could turn out to be the
best casting decision they make.
Tina still sucks though. Maybe Colby and Richard Hatch will have cameos as
well?
Haaaaaaahahaahahahaaaaa! I never thought they would actually add it. But
I've proven my point! LOL!

So it was YOU who added that! Lol - yes, you proved your point. Tina
Wesson looks too old to play someone her own age so this header really
made me wonder.
So you enjoy becoming part of the problem?

Please don't do that again.
I agree. The info has spread to other boards; people are now taking
it as gospel.

Just as they're taking the info on Oceanic Air's site as gospel. The
difference is, no one is jumping down those webmasters' throats telling
them to quit it. In fact, people seem to grasp onto any crummy excuse in
order to defend that site's info. And that's all I'm going to say about
this topic.

I wouldn't worry about it. Most people will see it for what it is,
and the people who are taking it as gospel probably don't believe it
either, they're just discussing it because it's so odd. Think about it
- Tina Wesson as a 16 year old?
Actually, Anthony - Melroseman did say he would do "something else"
(to prove his point) when you challenged him to make that web page. I
think that was your something else. :)

I don't read many of these posts since the finale, but of course I
always pay attention to your posts. <g> As far as Lost's mysteries, I
give up. Thinking about them makes my brain hurt too much.

Someone's paying attention! Good going Kate! Now if you could solve
some of Lost's mysteries, we'd really appreciate it. :)

As well as being about three times the age of the missing girl, Tina
Wesson isn't an actress.
Melroseman, now that you've proven your point, how about removing that
information from imdb? Even with its flaws, the website is a valuable
resource. Hopefully it's as easy to take away this prank listing as
it was to add.

You may be embarrassing Tina Wesson by using her name for an experiment
like you did. I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate it if she found out
about it.

It takes time. I've already asked them to remove the info and sent them
links to his dumbass postings here, so it should soon be taken down and the
problem won't arise again.

Who the f--k are you calling insolent?
No, he's just showing that anyone can add anything to the IMDB and that
it is NEVER to be taken as the gosepl for ANYTHING. The fact that
Samuel Jackson's name has now been removed only reinforces this fact.
I've seen so much bullshit on IMDB over the years that even the stuff
I'm sure is right- mostly the technical aspects- I question and try and
find two other sources to support it.
> Do you think Samuel Jackson would appreciates his name being used as a

Not at all.
But I don't know who's responsible for that hoax.
I do know who's responsible for the Tina Wesson hoax.

Actually, it spawned a brand new theory -- "they're aging" -- over at
The Fuselage!

Apparently... :-)

Seriously? I don't know about that Fuselage bunch over there....
Abrams is probably happy because anything that keeps the fans talking
is all good.

I still don't know what everyone got so excited about. The good part
is that now when anybody says something is gospel because they read it
on IMDB, we can just point them to that thread.
