*Everyone* pisses off Sawyer.
I think Sawyer is starting to come around, he will play the hard prick
part, but he will soften up soon. I like him ten fold compared to Ana Lucia.
That's a bit harsh. Ana-Lucia isn't really a bitch. She, and the other
tail section survivors, were put in a worse situation than the other
40-something survivors. They landed in the water, so they basically had
nothing, including no antibiotics, no matches, and no food. They were
immediately attacked by the Others. Ana-Lucia has a right to be
paranoid. The person she trusted (or seemed to trust) the most betrayed
her and nearly killed her.
While I love both characters, considering they are a con man and a
torturer, they are hardly stellar human beings...
Gee...ya think? ;)
Nice.
Tell me, did you feel the same way about Shannon?

You're supposed to hate her.
So the poster is merely pointing out that he or she can be manipulated
emotionally. It's the Stockholm syndrome :-)

Dostoevski, The Idiot
But look at all the discussion she's generated. Ana-Lucia has generated
more viewer *interest* than Shannon ever did--and that's a good thing.

plus, shes a bitch
Well, in my opinion, she's inured to hardship and hard-nosed to begin
with but we have seen no flashbacks previous to the airport scene to
situate her among the people who gravitate around Jack in one way or
another. She is the Arrow Dharma version of Jack in a way inasmuch
as command is thrust upon her by virtue of the fact that she is more
directed towards survival than others.
She will not die. Of course I said that about Shannon and it's
looking mighty grim right now.
I loaned my DVDs to a friend. Does anyone recall what happened in
the airport that involved Ana-Lucia? I remember she agreed to switch
seats or something which put her in the rear section, or am I
confusing that with another event?
Yup. Especially if it translates to ratings.
She should put Al Queida guy in the pit.
She had a conversation with Jack at the Bar that revealed she was in
the back row. The offer to switch was in fun. She told Jack the yshoe
share a drink on the plane, and said some reassuring words about his
Father's death. See the transcript at:
LOL!@#$@!
What else can I say.. "me too"
Somehow I don't think Ana-Lucia is into tantric sex.
She might be into S&M though. (She's S, you're M)
No, she was better looking...........

I hope an island Boar eats her for breakfast.
so few of us are saints.. these two just have their lives televised.
plus tonight's developments are making me gag...not so much her's (cause
I expected something similar) but in the reactions of the other
characters (I don't believe in saints..). saying anymore would probabaly
be a spoiler.
> agreed. she is quite posssibly the worst character on the show. if I
> have to see her pathetic sneer any longer I may hurl.
After tonite, I think Ana-Lucia may be the *best* character on the show.
She has done some understandable but nevertheless truly evil things.
(She murdered that criminal like a Mafia hit man would have.) She is a
bitch with a mean, even evil, streak. To see how she can redeem herself
may be the biggest challenge the Lost writers will have. And to get her
to hook up with a Lostaway, Jack perhaps, will be a yet bigger challenge.
Sure beats "I am so not moving to the rape caves!"
