Emma is forced to arrest Mary Margaret for Kathryn's suspected murder
and Mr. Gold is hired to represent Mary Margaret as her attorney while
the events concerning Prince Charming's search for Snow White continue
to be revealed along with his attempt to stop a determined Snow –
whose memory is still clouded by Rumplestiltskin's potion – from
assassinating the Evil Queen.

3 stars. Automatic point loss for focusing on Mary Margaret and
David. Another point loss for general stupidity.

If Mary Margaret had given the key to Emma and told her what happened,
Emma would've had something concrete to pin on Regina. She's already
witnessed the magical skeleton key at work, and she knows that Regina
has access to the sheriff's office. Instead, Mary Margaret adds
another charge to her list, makes herself look guilty, and quite
possibly risks Emma's job and an accusation of conspiring to help a
prisoner escape.

And David apparently is one of those guys who doesn't notice when a
girl gets a new haircut. Or a new outfit, for that matter.

Next week's episode looks extremely promising, though.

broke the episode when Charming saw a woman with long hair talking about
killing someone, and did not even question that it was Mary Margaret.

Plus, I want a lot more of the kid.

Didn't question that it was MM and Kathryn that she wanted to kill...

You hit on three of the same complaints I had.

I was also wondering why Snow's bluebirds look like small bright blue
parrots. They showed the same kind of bird when we were first
introduced to Mary Margaret in the classroom.

I suspect because of the curse he unconsciously conflates them. Her
appearance as Snow White is part of his memory of her.
