I heard this gossip on the Los Angeles Radio station KSWR 98.7 STAR,

that Dean Cain recently received an expensive bottle of champagne from the

producers of the show. However, Teri did not.

She promptly went to the producers and demaned to know why she wasn't

given't one. The producers apologized and gave her a bottle as well.

Dean Cain upon hearing this then snuck into Teri Hatcher's dressing rrom

just to maker sure her champagne wasn't more expensive than his.

Are there any other gossip of trouble on the set?

Geez, it'd be a shame for the show to end for want of a bottle of bubbly.

Sounds like a really stupid rumor to me. L.A. radio, right? Forget it.

There was an article about Teri Hatcher (including an interview with her)
early this week in USA Today. Here is what it said about this...

*** Though they're not bosom buddies, Hatcher and co-star Dean Cain get
along well, she says.

"It's been three weeks or so since we wrapped (for the season), and we
haven't called each other. We don't go out to dinner....I would say we
are not really friends, but there certainly is a very bonded support
system." *** (end of article clip)

Doesn't sound like it's too big of a problem to me.

Another thing mentioned in the article was that she no longer goes online
to talk to Lois and Clark fans because someone once said to her online,
"She needs to start using wrinkle cream" and she was mortified by this.
My only thought on this is what the moron who said this to her looks like.
It had to be jealousy.

the question is : *was* teri's champagne more expensive????
i heard this also, i also heard that dean grew a beard for the show, but
teri got so annoyed with it she demanded that he shave it off.
glad to see the tabloid writers are growing some imaginations!

She doesn't go online anymore because some jackass said she needed wrinkle
cream? Sheesh.

I sincerely hope her self-image is better than that.

Look at it this way. She and Dean work long, punishing hours, and
have chosen to appear online as a favor to fans. This cuts into their
private time. Would *YOU* give up your free time, knowing there were
going to be jackasses who would ruin the enjoyment of the experience?
I might give it a try once or twice, but after that ... forget it.

There's nothing in the literature that had been verified that indicates
the L&C set is anything like some of the more famous ones like the well
documented battles of Willis and Shepard or The La Verne and Shirley stars
who had their handlers time the amount of screen time each had and
demanding equal time.

<scoff> Really, especially since Dean said himself that he doesn't "grow a
whole lot of whiskers."

I agree completely. I was sincere, though, in saying that I hoped Hatcher
didn't leave because she'd been cut to the quick by that remark. If she
left because she was offended by the stupidity and oafishness of that
person, more power to her.
