WJLA (Channel 7), in its infinite wisdom, has decided to air Joel Seigel's
Oscar Picks instead of L&C. They have also decided not to show this episode
of L&C (Tempus Fugitive) at any other time. Call them to express your
displeasure at (202) 364-7777. Here are some hints for calling:
1. Politely say that you are unhappy that they have preempted L&C and that
you would have preferred that they preempt a different program.
2. Inquire as to when they intend to reschedule the program so that you can
watch and/or tape.
3. Tell them that you plan on writing ABC and letting them know that you
wished it hadn't been preempted.
Please remember to be polite.
Baltimore (Channel 2) will be showing L&C at its regular time; they decided
to show Joel Seigel instead of America's Funniest Home Videos, like I
suggested to WJLA when I called.
Please, please, everyone in the Washington area call and let them know how
much L&C means to you!!

WSB in Atlanta is also pre-empting the episode for a 'Monica Kaufman
Closeup'. I am more than irritated. Why can't they wait for a repeat to
pull this stunt.

In case you didn't know it, L&C is being shown later at 1 am.
At least they didn't cancel it entirely.
Well, I started watching it on WJLA and realized that annoying
what's-his-name was doing yet more Oscar stuff. Luckily, I also get the
Baltimore channel seven and *they* didn't pre-empt it! I thought it was a
good episode, though the ending was disappointingly predictable. But the
point of this is - for those of you in the DC area, you should see if you
can access the Baltimore stations. They tend to be better about showing
what they say they're going to show!
