John Corbin Actor, who?

Could somebody help me remember where I saw the actor who played John
Corbin (AKA Metallo) on Jan 1/95 Lois and Clark.
I know that I have seen him before but can't remember and now it is at
the point that it is really annoying me.
To me he looks like Doug Gilmour Cpt of the Leafs, but I know its not
him. I've seen him on TV before.

He was played by Scott Valentine. He's been in some movies, but I don't
remember any of them right now. He was Mallory's (Justine Bateman's)
boyfriend on Family Ties, if that's any help to you.

Ever watch Family Ties? I can't remember his name either, but he played
Mallory's boyfriend Nick. "Eeeehhh!" :-)
Not a bad show this week. I liked the teaser of a phone call at the end,
too. Lois seems closer to breaking down and telling Clark again,
hopefully this time he won't sleep through it :-)

Hmmm, let's see, I guess he would be most famous for playing Malary's
boyfriend on the Michael J. Fox show, oooops, I mean, Family Ties. He's
also done a number of not-so-great movies none of which I can remember at
the moment.

His name is Scott Valentine
He played Nick, Mallory's boyfriend on Family Ties, always wore combat pants
and boots, yelled "MAL-OR-EE!" a lot

He was also in a vampire-type movie a while ago, but got injured in an
accident.
