The series focuses on a wife and mother (Margulies) forced to restart
a career in law that she gave up 13 years ago to start a family. The
reason? Her husband (Noth) goes to jail on political corruption
charges with a sex scandal tossed on top.
Competition for Jay Leno?
As far as I'm concerned, a test pattern is competition for Leno.

On her last show (on FOX) she was also a lawyer
Oh I agree, hes a not all that great, Carson hes not, but then who is/was?
Kewl. I wanna watch that.
I really enjoyed that series.

We did as well, FOX is always cancelling shows at the drop of a hat
>"The Good Wife," starring Julianna Margulies, Chris Noth, Josh Charles

That's all I need to know to give this a shot <g>. Don't care so much
about Margulies, but I'm definitely a fan of Noth, Charles and
Baranski. Fall 2009 can't arrive too quickly!
BTW, how are people liking Jeff Goldblum in CI? After his second CI
episode, I've decided that I like him.
Mike hes not, in some ways like I said brfore almost another Bobby, but
bearable enough
I've been a JB fan for years. I think he brings the right amount of
kookieness and intelligence and is a much better fit with the woman--can't
remember her name.
Murielle
Sorry brain in park.

The first time my wife and I saw Jeff was not in DEATH WISH, but in an
off-Broadway show on West 57th St, near Central Park, called of all things
"El Garde De Coca Cola" a very funny show. It was also done as an HBO
special, bu they mucked it up.
I honestly can't recall the first time I saw him. Not on stage--you lucky
thing!

I don't exactly see him as kooky but I get what you're saying. These
CI guys always seem to have some kind of eccentric quality about them
that make them such good solvers of crime. Actually the other day I
was just wondering why it's always the male detective who's this way,
and never the female. Is it because the audience won't find that kind
of pairing acceptable?

Yeah! I mostly started liking him in JURASSIC PARK, of all things. I
can't recall the first time I saw him onscreen either. Did you see him
in the shortlived tv series RAINES? I liked the character he played
there, too.
Most of you here are too young to recall "Tenspeed and Brownshoe"
danm was that bad and I don't mean bad good.
I have a vague memorie of that. The title is familiar, anyway.
I didn't see the one Dawnie mentioned, though to be honest that sounds
familar too. TV: garbage in, garbage forgotten. Though I don't think JG
could do garbage if he tried.
Murielle
Hi Dawnie! Long time no-see. That sound familiar but ....
Ah, you know how it goes.

Logan's first partner was quirky, can't remember her name. I
certainly miss Chris Noth, the guy was with the show from the very
beginning, and provided the "street cop" element to CI. The best
pairing was of course Briscoe/Logan!
"What do you mean there's no movie?"
Well I guess you're in the minority.
Me I wanted to put my fist into the screen
