A few nice links.

I've heard of a few of these, but this one was new to me, "A 95-year-
old US Air Force veteran from World War II and his 85-year-old friend
were humiliated, searched and robbed at a San Diego TSA checkpoint."

Do you really want minimum wage TSA staff deciding who is allowed to bypass
security protocols?

Should we make special exceptions for veterans? If I recall, the only
person ever executed in the USA for committing an act of terrorism was an
honorably discharged veteran who had been awarded the Bronze Star.

Minimum wage? Was the robbery a perk of the job?

Like letting them keep their money?

Was terrorism the actual charge?

Hey, it's ok. With Obamacare we can all pay for it twice. Once when
the government gives it to her and a second time when they break it.

Listen, bud, you either releect Obama or you get someone who thinks that
all the main Old Testament characters and eventually Jesus visited North
America. It may be a question of damage limitation. As far as I know
the Flying Spaghetti Monster does not have a candidate.

That's not the choice, pal.

It's either I elect someone whose belief in some invisible sky fairy
won't really affect me much one way or the other or I get someone who
believes in the socialist fairy and that high taxes, giving money away
and borrowing to pay interest is a good thing for America. It's a
question of damage control. And the FSM would be entirely pleased
that I have a rational view of the matter. I know because he touched
me with his noodley appendage.

Has the TSA ever released statistics showing that they have ever
actually caught a real terrorist trying to get on a plane? And not
just some jerk deciding the laws don't apply to him and tries to bring
his weapon onboard.
