OT RFTHP What if Zimmerman can't get a fair trial?

I'm starting to think it may be a fair question.

Some of those look like they may have been posted by provocateurs.
Others? I don't know.

But even if you think this question doesn't apply to Zimmerman in
particular, what if a defendant cannot get a fair trial? What if a
judge decides that an impartial jury cannot be selected? What if the
judge decides that a change of venue will not work either? Or what if
more than one venue has been tried and a jury cannot be selected.

Suppose that whatever the issues are an impartial jury cannot be
selected. What should happen to the defendant? Anyone know if there
is a precedent for this? Law on the books?

predicts a riot if Zimmerman is acquitted. Nice of them to advertise,
if that's what it is. I wonder how law enforcement agencies around
the country are preparing for that eventuality.

Let me put it this way: he will get a fair trial.

They will have no trouble finding a jury of twelve individuals who
have lived under a rock the last few months and have never
heard of Trayvon Martin, Zimmerman, or all the anger surrounding
this case.


There have been numerous cases where it was thought that
someone could not get a fair trial, ultimately they do get their
fair trial.
