The fact of bringing back the same michael would be impossible because he said
in an interview those days were over. I think somewhere deep inside he does
wanna do another knight rider series. I mean, he made baywatch nights, He
obviously liked the idea of fighting crime and driving around in a cool car.
But the show failed and aybe thats why he doesnt want that to happen again and
he just wants to leave Knight Rider as a legend. I really do like Knight Rider
and hope tht the show will come back one day, Kitt as a Trans Am And Michael or
a replacement for him with an adequate background on the replacement

Well, it wasn't "over" one year ago, when he pitched a new KR show to
Universal (he even went out and bought 6 identical jet-black Dodge Vipers
for it). Universal simply didn't want to turn the entire franchise over to
him, which I think is a good thing (anybody remember Baywatch Nights? It
was KR without the car). TRUST ME, if TKR had made it to a second season,
Hasselhoff (and probably everyone else from TOS) would have shown up, in
recurring roles.

Hasselhoff LOVES Knight Rider. He was so crushed when it was cancelled it
wasn't funny. Baywatch Nights was an attempt to get back to something
close to it (remember that ep with Edward Mulhare? Picture it:
Hasselhoff, Mulhare, a second-string black guy, and a dark-haired female
computer expert, all in the same room, working as a team).

No, he wants it to come back, but on HIS terms. And after seeing how
cheesy every series and movie is that he made (remember Avalanche?),
Universal opted to go with Copp & Goodman.

The last SMTB movie with just Jerry and Sally was a little lame!
