I know how much these hub caps cost I traded a set of rims for a set of
the turbo rims minus on cap. I got them from a local care dealer and he
let me use his dealer number to get the cap for 25 dollars cheaper. So
to my point I used some wire at three points and wired the caps on. They
were not going to come off. You can still take the rims off you can get
to the lug nuts threw the holes in the cap its not easy to put them back
on. The wire was just a little softer then coat hanger wire. I didn't
think it was to extreme do to the cost of the rims. This also lets you
take the caps off if need be. If anyone would like further explanation
you can e-mail me at gre...@gte.net

It's alot easier and cheaper to just run out to Wal-Mart and pick up
some GE Household Clear Silicon Glue (2.97 Hardware Dept). It takes 2
tubes does one set of caps. Just place the glue on the back side on the
outer edge. Press the cap on, and let dry over night. I did this on
mine, and i havn't lost one yet!! And if you want them make off, they
will come off if you pull - it's not perminant.

Why this is marked as abuse? It has been marked as abuse.
Report not abuse

I have heard that windshield adhesive is also a good way to keep the caps
secure.
