Kindred: The Embraced was picked up by FOX as a mid season replacement for
the 1995-1996 season. It premierd in April of 1996, and ran until early
May. As a mid season replacement, a full compliment of episodes was not
required, so only 8 were produced. About 4 weeks into it's run, FOX decided
not to renew the show for the fall. So it played out it's remaining
episodes, and was gone.
In the summer of 1996, the USA Network was negotiating to bring Kindred to
their network, and continue where it had left off.
In September of 1996, Mark Frankel, who played Julian Luna, was killed in a
motorcycle accident. USA felt that the show would not be the same without
it's star, and cancelled their plans to revive it.
There was a script written as the 2nd season premier. It involved the
discovery of a skull in Africa that belonged to an ancient ancestor to the
Kindred. It had the effect of turning anyone who touched it into a primitve
and feral vampire.
Also in the second season, there were plans to bring back Chandra West's
character Grace (from Live hard, die young...) as a continuing character.
She was going to help protect Kindred interests in the motion picture
industry.
Do you know the ep titles?
I looked up the list on tv.com, but it only lists the original 8 :(
Do you know where to find them? D/l (if it's HQ) would be great but DVD
would be ok

Yeah, it's really a real address :)
No. There was not a second season. There were scripts, or at least
outlines for a second season, had it continued, which it did not.
> How many eps got made before the poor Julian guy got killed?
Full compliment of 8 (?) for the first season, ZERO for secong season.
