I was just recently re-watching "Ghosts of Christmas Past" from Season 5.
To refresh, it takes place on the Ticonderoga Christmas Eve of 1969, when
Hammer was shot down. His back-seater was Lt. "Hoot" Gibson. We never saw
Hoot's chute, and we never heard about his fate.
