By original, do you mean when Food TV originally aired the reruns in
the United States? I have only seen a bit of Iron Chef on satellite
recently. It is slightly different from the initial showing in that
the music from the Backdraft soundtrack has been replaced by some
generic Asian-y sounding music. All participants other than Chairman
Kaga have been dubbed from day one. For a small time, maybe the
second block of episodes that Food TV ordered from Fuji, Chairman Kaga
was dubbed, much to the displeasure of most viewers.
