Personally, I thought it was a bit too slick for my taste. There was actually
a plot to it. Then Lorenzo Lamas would come on and do the hard sell, which
wasn't really that hard. It looks like they spent quite a bit of money on it.
They spent quite a lot of time bashing Soloflex and Nordicflex <sp> Gold, at
2-minute intervals or so they would mention something about rubber bands not
being an effective way to exercise.
My personal preference for watching informercials is the Amazing Discoveries
genre, I like Mike Levy! I found this one too slick.
Just my $0.02 worth (on SALE for the LOW LOW PRICE of $0.01!!!)

My roommate and I turned this one on, and watched it for a few minutes before
we realized it was an infomercial. Two of the "main characters" were talking
about some biker... They said, "I wonder what his problem is.." At this
point, I figured this was some bad syndicated drama or something. And then the
two characters looked at each other and said, "He needs some circuit training"
and then Lorenzo Lamas comes on and starts to pitch the product. Ridiculous,
and it left us both laughing.

One thing though - I wouldn't mind a bit of 'circuit training' with that
blonde.
Another thing - who the hell keeps a home gym at a service station? And while
the subject of Mike Levy was brought up, why does he always look stoned?
-Tim tme...@io.org Toronto-
mike levy is not stoned... he's high on life! wouldn't
you be too if you had such a great job?

Sure I've seen it. And I think it's great! I love when that slick
blond is "pumping her body weight" (is my wife reading this?). And
when the biker is finally strong enough that he wins the motorcycle
race and then they're both in their "he/she'll call me" fantasy.
Wonderful!
Of course it'd never work for me as I couldn't lift MY own weight!
I'll stick w/ rubberbands &/or lead.
But, it's something to watch when the baby wakes up for his 2am feeding.

Not to worry, "[paraphrase] with the Gravity Edge you can quickly and
easily set the resistance from 20% to 150% of your body weight."
Given that I never buy anything from TV and that I have no interest in
weight training, I liked it.
I liked the little drama
I liked the race scenes (those Mountain Dew commericals are too
short)
I liked the idea of using lifting your own weight, ingenious.
Questions I had:
Is constant resistance through the exercise motion whole cycle really best?
(I thought the rubber band machines claim to be the best because
of varying resistance.)
Does the machine stick out too much in back? It looks like it couldn't be put in
corner.
Observation:
Did you notice that the race in Seattle was on a track that looked just
like their practice track?
