Hello all-
Kyle Secor as a contender for top-whiner in the whining olympics AKA
The Salinger clan in Fox's "Party of Five."
What up with 'dat?

sorry If this has already been discussed.

BG asked a question, but I'm not sure what it was:

>Kyle Secor as a contender for top-whiner in the whining olympics AKA
>The Salinger clan in Fox's "Party of Five."
>What up with 'dat?

[From the subject heading, I thought this was going to be about Y2K and the
Apocalypse.]

Firstly, there's absolutely no contest here: his character's not in the same
league--nay, not in the same universe--as Neve Campbell's! Try covering her
half of the TV screen with a sheet of paper; I find this helps. Also, tape it
and watch it later, so you can fast-forward through the irrelevent bits.

As to "what up with 'dat," perhaps he's trying for a bit more visibility than
was afforded by appearing on a critically-acclaimed but under-watched and
completely unpromoted show.

Robin, RC Trixie, just trying to be helpful

Come on- as big a Baylis fan as I am- when has he not been a whiner?

As for Party of 5- I can't watch it anymore. Has true happiness evaded
one family any more on this show? I kind of feel like I'm contributig
to their depressive lives every time I turn Fox on at 9pm on
Wednesdays, so I don't anymore.

In article
<384182cb...@news.odyss
ee.net>,

Bayliss was over emotional
and wore his feelings on his
sleeves, true. But I never
saw him as a whiner. If
anything, he tried to hold
his feelings in, though
often unsuccessfully. To me
the resident whiner was
always post-arson scandal
Kellerman.

PoF truly is the whiner's
Olympics. But, Kyle did look
*very* good in it.
