Hey'all,

While watching 'Home & Away' on the 31st March 1999, I noticed that Kate
Ritchies bust size had dramatically decreased.. She was wearing a red jumper
(which should accentuate breast size), however, this was not the case. I
don't watch 'Home & Away' on a regular basis, once every 8 months or so, but
her bust definately did not look like that of the opening credits.. So, has
anyone heard anything about this? Has she had a breast reduction? is there a
suspected reduction? does anyone else agree that her bust size has severally
diminished? It was just an observation.. I can't understand why anyone who
has natural big boobs would want to reduce them.. I can understand that
perhaps large breasts can be quite tense on the spine thus causing 'back
pain' but I it would be worth it.. Men love *big breasts* and will give any
woman with big breasts lots of attention.. I think natural is great and that
a woman with big breasts has been blessed..

Blessed Be,

LadyDeath

Oh I can... I had a friend who was very large and used to have real
problems with running or doing anything very physical. Her doctor
actually suggested surgery as this was pretty much a case of
disablement rather than "just" a cosmetic thing - but she agonised a
long time about it as she was not a great believer in surgery in non-life
threatening situations.. In the end she had the op - and has been SO
much happier for lots of reasons since.

Actually my friend used to think that they found hers sort of
intimidating, and the few guys she did attract were of the wrong sort.
When I last heard f her she had a wonderful bloke..

Actually....I have big boobs...
It's not a blessing at all...most of the time they just get in the way, make
your back hurt or make nice shirts sit funny...
And as for attention from men...yeah they do attract attention...but who
needs a bunch of guys leering down your shirt all the time....not me!! My
boyfriend likes them and that's enough for me!!
I don't think Kate Richie has had a reduction...she was wearing a very small
top on tonight's ep...and they were...um...well..wanting to escape her shirt
I think!!

Hi!

I have a snail-mail friend in Oz who told me some months back that Kate was
more than a little embarresed by all the fan male from guys making lewd
remarks about her bust. I too have noticed that it seems to have got smaller
in recent months and there is a rumour so my mate tells me that she has
indeed had a boob job .. cannot confirm that though. The story continues
that the producers paid for it as she was going to quit.

Rose,
Believe it or not Kate hasn't had a breast reduction, she is wearing a
pushdown bra. Kate is very sensitive about her figure. She is one of the
original cast of the Home And Away series, I remember this squeaky little
five year old running around on my TV over 12 years ago. Home and Away may
well not be around much longer as it's ratings are dwindelling worse than
"Breakers" here in Australia. If Home and Away continues production it
will only be for overseas interests as the Seven network looks like dropping
it..

In that case, it seems strange that some of the cast are up for winning some
logies. Surely, this must be a sign that the show is doing well?

Thanks for clearing that up but I'm more sad to hear that the show may be
axed. I too have watched Sally since she was about five and I guessed she
had got very sensitive at puberty when she became a little busty. Why though
I wonder does Sally never seem to get any decent fellas? All the lads in Oz
seem to go for the blonde small boobed girls ... in England she'd be mobbed!

I found out that ITV in England who show the prog have already put in money
to keep it going and sent "expert" producers to "beef up" the plots. It
seems they don't want it axed as they buy it "cheap" as it would cost 3
times as much to make a similar show in UK for the teatime slot.

I've heard this in the past, but it seems somewhat ironic that ITV
want to beef up the plots when it is they who make so many cuts to the
show that most UK viewers probably don't have a clue about the number
of decent storylines they've missed.

As I understand it, ITV have an agreement with the 7 Network to show
H&A until 2000, but whether there's a deal for after this, I don't
know.

Correct. The report was in The Sun (if it's in there, it MUST be true!), but
this turned out to be illogical and incorrect.

Breakers? Is that still on? They even axed it over here. What about
neighbours what ratings is that getting compared to H&A? What other
soaps are more popular in Oz then? Or are soaps just not that popular?

Hey Simon, your views work just like mine (wow, a man with a brain ..marry

the actor must either be really good to play such a phoney guy or he's a
really BAD actor playing a better written part ... does that make sense??

I think it's the scriptwriters. There's nothing to suggest that vinny
isn't meant to be like that. Even the other characters (namely justine
and Alf) know how annoying he is.
I also can't stand sam. He seems to act the same as he did when bobby
was still there. Sam's ex-girlfriend the one with epilepsy was really
annoying too.

while I'm on the topic anyone else find it totally unrealistic when a
character runs from the room crying in the middle of an argument? I
can't remeber ever doing that.

I went into Mc Donalds today at lunchtime ..(Yes, I KNOW yukk!) and there
was a skinny, spotting looking youth who was just as obnoxious as V. He even
managed to say, "Enjoy your meal" in a voice like treacle ... V used to run

before I go, I have to admit to not being too distraught that H&A is not on

I agree. I think that the point of Vinnie is to annoy people on the show(perhaps
not the viewers!), but his initial purpose within the show is comedy padding, so
there is no great depth to his character, thus his superficiality.

That excuse for a character was bad due to terrible acting.

You said in a posting that you were in a McDonalds at lunchtime. Why ?

When I have take-away foods I choose to shop at other establishments.
However I do often get their 30 cent ice-creams (Australia). ((In NZ the

I want to explain about the ingredients of soft ice cream that Catherine
asked about. Fast food ice cream is not "made" it is mined by starving
Bulgarian peasents in the Chunder Valley. The Ice Cream is the result of
thousands of years of biological metamorphosis accelerated in recent years
by chemical pollution from the Ruhr valley.

It is a hard life for the miners because as of course you know, the Ice
Cream is toxic even in small 30c doses, (30c ... be lucky to get one for $1

bad breathe, skin rashes and a progressive form of dementia. (Proof? ... I'm

That can be difficult in a lot of UK small towns where Macs/Burger King
can be the only affordable place to eat or hang out that is not a smoky
pub full of drunks looking for casual sex. Chip shops are getting fewer,
and Chinese/Indian tend to be a bit more expensive...

If it's the same as the stuff they sell in some icecream vans here then
it's milk powder, veg oil, glucose syrup emulsified. Most of the soya
currently has genetically engineered cro(a?)p mixed in with it...

Wasn't there any alternative? I med only buy a coke at mcdonalds if I
had no choice. They charge twice as much as a news agent supermarket.
I've been told that of your £1: 2 pence is for the syrup and the rest is

The soft serve icecreams are made of pig fat,, that's why they're soft. The
meat in the burgers is disgusting things like intestines and the buns are
practically all sugar. They fry all their food in pig fat

What is this fuss about Kate Ritchie from what I have
seen she rather resembles a horse, you shallow people.

Yesterdays prog had a long session showing her gorgeous curves and,
unfortunately, YES, they are nowhere near as voluptuous as the opening
credits! Come clean Kate!

I think in that opening shot her breasts have been strapped, like they do
with models. Notice it is a top-half shot only, so the emphasis is focused
on the breasts and not on her bottom half figure, which is rather 'full' to
put it mildly.

Anyway this got me to thinking - are her breasts bigger than Marilyn's? It
would be an interesting competition, but I think Mazz just pips her
slightly. You'd think that after all this time away from her, old Flathead
would be dead keen to get his hands on those bazooka's.
