The star passed away on Thursday in Tarzana, California. He was 80.
He also racked up a number of roles in feature films including Foxy
Brown, Capricorn One and Murder in Mind, while also appearing in TV
shows such as Hogan's Heroes, Moonlighting, Matlock and Murder, She
Wrote.
Cedar is survived by his longtime companion, Elynore Leigh, his actress
daughter Loren Thompson, producer son Michael and his actor brother
George, as well as several grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at the Groman Eden Mortuary
in Mission Hills, California, according to Variety.com. »
