A quick question:

I've become a big fan of the T-bird that Duncan Macleod drives. What year
is it? My initial guess would be '64 to, say, 1967, but I don't know for
sure. Whoever picked that car for him to drive made a smart choice. It's
obviously an old car, as befits an immortal, but it looks modern.

I not sure of the year but it is an anniversary editon and not that many were
made.

Does anyone one know the Model of the convertible Mercedes Tessa drives.

It looks similar to the one I have but my is a hardtop model 200 year 1966.

Hi Mary!

I think Tess'a MB is a 250SL. I only say this because it looks remarkably
like mine, which is a 67. Hope this helps!

11 years later and people are still answering questions on this. That's awesome. Yes the Thunderbird is in fact a 64. Besides the hood the fender on the 65 had a scalloped molding where the 64 had the word Thunderbird.

I would also like to add that after careful and lengthy searches, I believe I finally found the answer. On some trivia page it states that Tessa drove a four door Mercedes convertible. Well we all know that's not true. It was definitely a two door. However it was not an SL, but in fact an SE. Tessa drove a 66-72 Mercedes SE. Whether it was a 250, 280, or 300 is still unknown. The SE is a little larger than the SL and had a rear seat where the SL did not.

I've been looking for this car for a while now but I can't seem to figure out if it is a hartop convertible? For some reason it looks like it in the show.
