I doubt she pissed anyone off, especially. Her character was certainly one
of the least favorite around here, ranking somewhere around that of Charlie
DeSalvo. Scenes between Dr Ann and Duncan seemed more rote than passionate.
But it was probably a matter of permissions not given or contracts not
signed. I don't recall talk of any ill will.

I don't know about the Romances tape, but in a discussion (at - um - Chicago,
perhaps?), I believe the Gillian or Donna or both discussed the montage, and
the many, many version that were made.
One or both said that Charlie and Anne were not included in the montage because
of - um - permissions? Legalities of some kind that they couldn't use any
Canadian actors who were not directly in that episode. I don't have the exact
quote but I remember that part.

Thank God I am not alone! That woman drove me mad. How HL put up with her for
so long is a mystery to me. She was pompous, childish and selfish. Yes,
selfish! All this crap about being a physician was purely to satisfy her own
ego.
BTW, I faithfully promise to report when I actually hear a doctor say in
earnest: "I deal with matters of life and death everyday!". Provided, of
course, that I do not die laughing, which surely all the other physicians
within hearing distance will do.
This, of course, has little to do with the meat of this thread and I
appologize for this poinless rant.

Few will disagree with you about Dr. Anne. Definately not a favorite.
No. Nuh, uh.

It's okay ... you don't have to defend her. She and Duncan had a weird
relationship from the git-go and she was perfectly justified in absolutely
every action she ever took; on the other hand, she was extremely annoying.
I rather wished at times that she were Immortal so Duncan could have taken
her head and released us all from her constant whining and badgering. Or
she could have taken up with Charlie and they could have badgered each
other for an eternity of bliss. They were made for each other. They could
make guest appearances on Highlander. The Badgerers ... kind of like The
Whiners on SNL.

(Duncan lied through is teeth the whole

That's wot immies do by definition.
(He walked out and left her to think he was dead,
>and to grieve alone)
Most stiffs do that. If he returned, she would not be grieving.
(She wasn't supposed to be Tessa)
Got that right!
(He gave her
>a house with structural damage from the Q ;-D)
A fate worse than death.
(he called her *on
>the phone* to tell her that "oh, yeah, I'm alive")
Agree, not on, really, he should have popped out in front of her in a dark
alley and go "Boo!"
(she saw the
>ugliest fight ever done in Highlander, and the Mother of Hideous
>Quickenings within 9 months of meeting him)
Gee, I thought it was one of the few fights where the guys actually looked
like they wanted to kill each other. Others pay good money to see that. She
was extremely fortunate.
(He fell apart in

Badger in public, so shall ye reap...
(Asking questions and wanting to know about a guy you're

Personally not, but I am old-fashioned that way.
(It was

Oh, lucky man!
(She didn't dump him because of the baby (that was part of

Wrong, killing comes naturally to most physicians.

As soon as I have finished my Beano.
(No, the medical stuff wasn't

And that is supposed to be a defense?
I love a good scuffle. Thank you.
