There is in Ellenton Florida a
1840s vintange plantation
known as the Gamble Plantation.

I urge anyone in this newsgroup
who CAN visit it to do so.

If you take the guided tour ($6 US),
keep an eye open for a
photo of Hiram McLeod.

(I can't remember whether I saw
the photo during the tour or before
the tour, in the "welcome center")


I can only say that the resemblance to
Adrian Paul is **STARTLING**
