Here's a simple question in the old days immortals didnt have to hide their
swords. But these days it is prohibited by law to carry deadly weapons in
public so Where do they hide theirs swords these days?
It seems to just pop up when they need it sometimes they hide them in their
trech coats but not all so
where do they hide them In their underwear?

I dunno.. but it's always been my belief that Immies have some kind of
trans-dimensional thing going that lets them store things as needed... I
think that's where Amanda hides all Duncan's credit cards as well...
Just a thought

Like I said before, they are very, very cleverly concealed in their
clothing, you can't seem them because that's the point, this is a technique
that's devoped over years of practice. If you could ever get your hands on
some of DM's trench coats and jackets I'm sure you would find some very
interesting hidden pockets.

AP said in an online chat once that when he's wearing the short jacket, DM
has it shoved up his butt :-)

They are very, very cleverly concealed in their clothing. And on things
such as planes, some, like Duncan have an antique dealer transport permit
to allow them to (pardon me for being redundant) transport them from place
to place.

Well, in at least one ep, we've seen a sword, ouside of jacket, sitting between
the front seats of a car.

Yep, sometimes spelling mistakes can be ignored, sometimes they change
the meaning, and sometimes they can lead to a lot of *strange*

Okay. A great example of when Richie *really* does a "thin air" pull is in
"Shadows." He enters the dojo with no sword in evidence, wearing only jeans
and a button-down shirt. Then he hears the hooded figure behind him and
turns, *sword in hand*, and utters that immortal (no pun intended) phrase:
"No way!"

Well, you must remember, when considering this possibility, that
any wound they inflicted upon themsleves while hiding the sword
would heal. And we can assume they would eventually get used to
the pain. But I wanna know why the sword isn't at all discolored
when they pull it out.

Actually, I think we are supposed to assume that after a number
of years where your survival depended on you carrying and hiding
a sword every day, anyone should be able to adapt certain techniques
to accomplish that goal.

You wouldn't happen to be related to Morgan Freeman, would you?

I think he's a great actor, and I've always regarded him in reverence.
He knows the effect of cadence in one's voice, and how to express, in
his movement, the qualities of humility and authority of wisdom.

Too bad they didn't show, in the movie "Kiss the Girls," the sex scene
between Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd which is in the book.

At least we were premitted many views of her smooth, slender,
beautiful feet. :P Women who are strong in mind and body are immensely
appealing to me. :) (as long as they aren't superflously strong, to
the point that they resemble body builders... :-))

I have one small problem with that, I've never seen him drop his pants to
withdraw his sword.

And believe me, I'd love to see him drop his pants.

Okay...if, as is popularly supposed, Immortals hide their swords within
their rectal orifices, doesn't that bring up the question of "where do the
bullets go?" If bullets are somehow dissolved or expelled, would not a
sword, also metal and also a foreign object, be subject to the same fate?
No, my friends, we must assume that there is a virtual pocket from which
Immortals can draw their weapon at will...all Immortals, except Amanda, of
course, who hides her own sword in the most likely and least convenient
place.

As for the orifices I don't know about this. As for the lead(bullets) I
think befor airports thay just left them ware thay landed but with metal
detectors I think thay have to dig them out(no swet) of then selves.
Swords can be hidden all right I hid my sword(cheep chezzy chines sword)
in a short coat and was able to wip it out very quick and e-z to declair
"there can be only one" .I think in the movie biz thay just cut and hand
it to them and start rolling the film again. As for Amanda I will leave

I think it's part of the basic premise of HL that Immie's don't die,
and they pull their swords out from non-Einsteinian dimensions in
their armpits.

There have been some pretty obvious "coming out of nowhere" sword
incidents like with Richie and Mako. Too many to name here.

I had just developed the theory that the weapons are collapsible. I'm apparently a simpleton, since they really are pulled either from an alternate universe or someone's ass.
