No, White Wolf did NOT write those rules. They are a net-supplement created by
Hank Driskill and John Gavigan, which don't have any legal ties to either WW or
the owners of Highlander (tm). It is a good system, but not a product of WW.
Incidentally, WW will not be writing a set of rules for Highlander, because
ThunderCastle games already owns those rights.

In case you didnt know, White Wolf, makers of many a popular roleplaying game
have come up with rules for the Highlander RPG. It's not known if White Wolf
will actually come out with a RPG or not, but there is a copy of the rules at
a URL I have visited. This is NOT the Web game everyone is posting about. This
is an actual role playing game with dice and everything. I will post the URL
if anyone is interested.

Actually the game is an "unofficial" one. It wasn't produced by
White Wolf but by Hank Driskill and John Gavigan using the White Wolf
rules. They have been working on it for a while now and the edition that
I have is the second edition but there was mention of a third edition.
I'm not sure if it is out yet though.
I think that the game is very well done, I have used it myself
and can say that it does stick to the Highlander atmosphere very well,
and they translated the various "powers" that immortals exhibit into a
workable system.
I can recommend this to anyone who wants to play Highlander as a
roleplaying game.
Hope this helps!

Actually, several fans did a Highlander adaptation of a White Wolf game
system, but Thunder Castle Games (who put out the Highlander Collector's
Card Game) is putting out an official Highlander RPG. Check out

Indeed, the Role Playing Game that my esteemed USENET member makes
mention is a commercial product that you could probably have lots of
fun playing - live (everyone in the same room). My version is a whole
hearted attempt to enliven the internet with hundreds of players at once
and a virtually unlimited and diverse Web/Net terrain.

which is located (by the way) at

http:/village.ios.com/~jcleese/index.html

many thanks,

Jeppy.
