Well, the theme would be the same as for all the other episodes...
Princes of the Universe by Queen...
I'm assuming what you're really asking is about the Celtic song from
the episode. It's called Bonny Portmore and in Homeland, the version
used was arranged by series composer Roger Bellon and sung by
session singer Laura Creamer.
A version of this can be found on Loreena McKinnett's CD The Visit.

Any idea if the Roger Bellon and Laura Creamer version is on sale? It
wasn't bad.

If it is the episode where Duncan finds that people have been robbing the
graves of his homeland in Scottland, then it is Loreena McKennit, and the
song is "Bonnie Portmoore" which appears on a CD called "The Visit". This
song was first featured in Highlander III where Connor goes to Glenfinnand
to heal his shattered spirit after a failed confrontation with ancient
enemy Kane.
The scenes could not be more beautiful. He had been brought an artifact
which turned out to be a rectangular piece of hammered steel of ancient
metallurgy, and used it to replace the shattered Masamune steel of Ramirez'
sword. Then he began his training and healing process in the Highlands of
his old home, off the shores of Loch Shiel. There were no sounds but the
music. It was dreamy and beautiful.
Also in Highlander III was a song or Loreena's entitled "The Two Trees"
which features the same Uillean Pipes player as in "Bonnie Poortmoore."
This song, however, is on another album.

Do you think this should be set up as a daily posting????? Poor
Chad can't get any *work* done answering this question all the
time. Guess the only good thing about it is that it is such a
*great* song and was used so effectively.
(Chad, how did it come to be selected. Was it something Roger
choose, AP or the writers....?)
OK, folks, raise your glasses and toast our Chad while he's
delurked.

I think Chad needs a macro. Complete with a <sigh> on the end. ;)

I can't speak for Chad, but I'll bet it came from the fact that it was
used in HL3. It is such a great song that I could easily see them
wanting to use it again. The funny thing is that it's an Irish song
about a forest cut down by the British to make boats. It sounds so
perfect in the places that it appears, but it's not really connected to
Scotland, I don't think (although I could be completely wrong).
Chad, if you're reading this, am I correct in guessing that TPTB wanted
to use Loreena McKennitt's version in the series but couldn't get the
rights in time?

Chad, Roger, my hat's off to you for a most wonderful rendition of "Bonny
Poortmore." I caught the last 15 mins. of a recent episode where Duncan
had asked Amanda for a more stable relationship. It was a walk along a
forrest, perhaps by the lake, and the leaves were an autumn gold. The
singer sang "Bonny Poortmore" with just "Oooooh" sounds. It was a wordless
wonder.
I really hope you guys can have an extended version of this on the CD.
There are certain songs that are absolutely priceless (and you guys have
done an incredible rendition on "Bonny Poortmore", with its ethereal
texture and even pipes in the background.) But so often are such songs so
short when they end up on CD.

I just want to plug Loreena McKinnett's version of Bonny Portmore. I was
happy they used that song in the episode, but I think McKinnett's version
is much better. If you enjoy celtic influenced music, you really should
pick up her CD. She combines a lot of interesting music threads and
poetry. The Visit CD even has a full length sung version of Tynneson's (I
know I'm butchering his name) Lady of Shalot.
