Whatever became of Ginny & Mike Webber?

When Rick Webber left Port Charles in the 1980s, he left with his adopted son
Mike Webber (David Mendenhall) and Rick's wife Ginny Blake (Judith Chapman) who
was Mike's real mom.

When Rick returned a few weeks ago, did they ever say what became of Mike &
Ginny?

Did this happen before Rick & Ginny left town together or was it just spoken
about years later?

I always thought that the 3 left town together.
