Looks like….

Cyrus is going to be a televangelist. Perfect $ con for him. Tho if he is
strong enough to be a busboy and a televangelist, might be he is strong
enough to tolerate prison.

He and the warden conspired to terminate Drew. Whatever happened to that
plotline? Why did she target Drew? This was never explained well enough.
Much like the never entirely clear storyline whether “she” (warden) or “he”
(Cyrus) or as yet unidentified other party is really in charge.

Nik taking off with Baby Ace as predicted.

Seemed like mere seconds between his leaving and Esme returning. How could
they not have passed one another.

Sloppy writing. The warden facilitated Cyrus's various plots and schemes
in return for his aid in her climb up the prison management career
ladder. What wasn't clear was how Cyrus could possibly have had any
clout with the agency that manages prisons in NY. If that were the case,
seems like he could have clouted his own way out of jail without having
to rely on Jimmy Lee Jr lying to the parole board on his behalf.

I'd say it's beyond sloppy. However, if I remember correctly Cyrus was providing funds to grease the right palms to get the Warden a Federal prison job at a nice cushy location. It seems like the Warden being a co-conspirator to murder in order to advance her career is not a good risk vs. reward choice. But it did happen at Pentonville where almost anything goes.
The whole Cyrus gets out of jail because he's supposedly too weak to hurt anyone never made any sense to me either. He could still give the orders or pull a trigger himself or commit any number of frauds, etc. I hope real prisoners don't get out of prison for such flimsy reasons, but who knows? Maybe they do.

This vaguely reminds me that a few years back, Nik bought the other prison
in town.

I have a vague memory of something like that, but thought it was
Pentonville that he tried to buy. And I think the purchase fell through,
tho the reason was never completely explained. Or if it was, it was very
lame and not memorable. What I do recall was that during the purchase
attempt, he had complete access to all prison facilities, and came and
went as he pleased, visiting various inmates, not in the visiting area,
but wherever they happened to be when he dropped by, be it library,
cafeteria, community showers, hallways, or stairwells. As if the place
were just one big open-to-the-public dormitory!
