There were a couple of things about Lulu this last week that made me
say "Huh?". I'm wondering if anyone else got the vibe that Lulu
doesn't truly understand the extent of Sonny's mobster-ness. Dante was
trying to explain why Sonny needs to be brought down and Lulu said
something to the effect of "No, Sonny's a good man. He sometimes
operates outside the law but . . ." There was another similar scene so
there were at least two that had me scratching my head. Could she
really be that naive when it comes to her dad's good friend and
previous business partner? Is it that old "Sonny doesn't deal in
drugs" so he's good mobster? Could she really be that obtuse
considering all that she saw and heard when she was with Johnny? Or am
I over-reacting or misunderstanding her words?

I go back to my original take on Lulu as incredibly stupid. How stupid was
she to sit in the restaurant that Sonny has made his new headquarters,
talking in a normal tone of voice to Dante about being a cop?! She doesn't
have to make up her MIND to blow his cover -- she'll do it by sheer
stupidity!

I meant to comment on the same thing. Gee, just because he orders hits on
people now and then that he is too much of a wimp to carry out himself that
doesn't make him a BAD man!!! Right!!! I think every woman in Port Charles
is an idiot when it comes to good looking mobsters! Even Alexis succumbed
to those stupid dimples! And Diane fell for Max' "flexibility!"

Lulu's brother is a cop, too, so you would think she'd have some
appreciation
for the job and not treat it all like the persecution of St. Dimples.
