So many dropped story lines
Too many to even recall here
January seems to be the month of Tell the Truth and It Will set you free.
Nina and Sonny Freed of each other.
Adam may get freed of his parents (will they let us know who they are?)
Esme did not tell the truth about her memory recovery so she has not been
set free.
Cody and Sasha lied about the dna test, so they are not free.
Who or what is next to be freed? Thru truth telling?
Diane is pressuring Sonny to file for divorce. I do not remember him
calling her. Maybe it happened off screen.
Her putting that much repeated pressure to start the divorce seems almost
unethical. Is she short of cash or something.

Nina doesn't want to be freed of Sonny, but maybe in time, Sonny will
make her wish she were. I'm not convinced that Sonny won't let her back
in eventually. Besides which, it's sort of odd that he would get so
exercised over this SEC thing when he barely even noticed that she had
broken his family. OTOH, I've thought all along that Sonny and Carly
would end up back together.

pressure on Adam to make A+ on every exam is coming from inside Adam's
head. The kid is a paranoid neurotic and possibly a nascent psycho just
looking for something to push him over the edge. Maybe it's just a sign
of the times, but I can't shake the feeling that he'll end up
barricading himself in Joss's dorm room with an assault rifle, and Joss,
Trina and maybe even dopey Spencer, as hostages. And of course Dex will
rush in to save the day before the PCPD swat team even gets its boots
on.

I heard her ask him only once, but she had no business asking him at
all. If he wants her to start divorce proceedings, he'll ask her to
provide that service. No prompts necessary, and not Diane's business,
otherwise.
him tell her he wants her help plotting revenge against Esme. Who knows
what *that's* about--hopefully it involves convincing law enforcement
that her amnesia story was a fraud. It might also involve kidnapping
Ace. Nik can't exactly file for custody without exposing himself to
legal jeopardy for kidnapping Esme. If he kidnaps Ace and takes him to
Greece or Russia or wherever, good riddance. Maybe then we can also be
rid of dopey Spencer, who'll no doubt tear up the globe searching for
them both.
