It was a very interesting last few days

Interesting was how much pro Nina voices appeared on social media

Equally interesting was the high number of anti Drew voices were heard

I noticed previously they have been writing him differently. He punched
Ned. Threatened Nina somewhat out of sorts with his prior character.

Sure, I get why he wants revenge. But he also has been tone deaf with
Scout and Sam says he is different.

It may just be Ptsd for the beating, but he was a SEAL, right? Conditioned
for pain. He seemed to tolerate Peter and Victor better than this event.

His chat with Anna was odd, too.

Some other observations.

The malpractice suit is poorly researched. It just does not seem credible
that Finn hasn’t had help from a lawyer assigned to him by his insurance
company.

Last week Carly was mourning Bobby’s death. She gave a little speech about
how she had resolved things and had achieved internal peace.

A week later, all she has on her mind is getting pleasure in seeing Nina’s
face when Drew fired her. She does not seem at peace.

Last time Nina was going thru some things, she sought out Phyllis in Nixon
Falls. Phyllis has been absent for at least two years now. Where is she?
Why wasn’t she at Nina’s wedding?

Some people are skeptical Ace is really Nik’s kid. Whether or not he is,
Esme and Ryan plotted to use the baby to enhance Esme’s position. Some
daddy suspects include Mason and Oz the burner phone lawyer that Esme
probably killed.

If Nik is caught, he will have to submit to a DNA test. And we will find
out for sure.

Will Esme seek out her nanny? If she takes Heather’s advice, she will need
to hide out somewhere. Ireland with her nanny seems a good spot.

Jordan was detained at the FBI. Another secret powerful boss? Or someone
we already know?

Finally, the tension between Spencer and Dante was really interesting.

I'm behind again, by at least a week. <sigh> Will try to catch up, but
I'm currently distracted by other stuff (Bad Sisters on Apple TV for
one--highly recommended).

Sounds like Drew has had a personality transplant. More writerly
shenanigans, I suppose. Maybe they wanted to make him more interesting.
I wouldn't argue against the idea that he'd become a bit too goody-goody
and predictable.

OMG, please do not make that big baby Spencer's. Daddy Spencer would be
just too much. I couldn't bear it!

We'll find out for sure...as long as the test isn't done at that iffy GH
DNA lab, where tests are routinely botched or falsified.

Timbuktu is nice this time of year, I hear. Great place for hiding out.
And disappearing altogether, good riddance to Esme.

I'd like to comment more on the above, but really can't until I catch up
with my viewing. Thanks for posting, tho, and keeping the conversation
going.

Snipped

I think they are going to send him away for brain cleanse the way they did
with Dante.

He recently nabbed a very lucrative contract to make telemovies.

Imho the character transformation is a way to clear him for hiatus

Maybe when he returns he will suddenly look more like either of his twins
Roger Howarth or Steve Burton

Lol

If he has to leave GH to work that gig, I wonder if he *will* come back.
Didn't Ryan Paevey leave GH for roles in Hallmark Movies? GH killed
Nathan off rather than recast him, but Drew has been recast before, so
could that be an option again?

LOL! Wait...maybe not Howarth, but could they possibly be planning that
for Burton? To return not as Jason, but as his identical twin brother
Drew?
