I won't spoil this for anyone, just want to say that the scene with Todd and Sonny today had me laughing out loud. I know it was supposed to be oh, so dramatic, but, seriously? Was anybody on the edge of their seat waiting to see the outcome? <sigh>

I'm really enjoying Todd! I know you've warned that he will become as tiresome as Sonny but that hasn't happened for me yet. I loved that he was so cool in the face of Sonny's macho threats. I was laughing at the big, bad gangster's demeanor. I can't see anyone being afraid of him. If he only looked half as tough as he tries to. He's such a joke. Jeez. I could either curse at Maurice's godawful acting or consider the whole thing to be a touch of comedic relief. Todd made the scene bearable for me!

As for the other farce of the day, Tracy/Luke/Anthony: snore.

It is great to see someone not cowering over Sonny's idle threats all the time... but If he would just shoot Todd dead
and finally get sent away by McBain, that would be the answer to my prayers. :)

I can't enjoy anything to do with Anthony's shooting, because it just reminds me Johnny is on his way out. <sigh>

ITA. If they simply had to turn Johnny into a despicable murderer, why couldn't he have just shot Sonny! Bruce Weitz acts rings around Maurice Benard and, as a bad ass mob boss, was much more believable in his role. As it is, Johnny's going to wind up in Ferncliff instead of Pentonville. Which, I suppose, gives us hope that he'll be "rehabilitated" and is better than him committing suicide. And we all know this show is riff with murderers walking around free! Killers galore! For whatever reason: Sonny, Jason, Max, Milo, Luke, Helena, Michael, Alexis, Matt, and isn't there some reason to believe that Tracy killed her mob boss husband (the first one, not Anthony)? Who am I missing? Oh, Todd.

<sigh> I meant "rife", although "riff" is a "repetition" so that might work after all!
