was paused whenever we werent playing. we could not for the life of us save
that princess. we were RIGHT there, so close...when the power flickered and we
lost the game. we havnt gone back to it since. :o) soon, though! summer is

I can relate to this! After my kids both moved out of the house,
leaving the Nintendo behind, I decided to try to go through all the
Mario games by myself, which I had never done before because the kids
always wound up playing through the hard parts. So I was playing
Yoshie's Island and I had gotten through all 47(or whatever) stages up
to the very last one, and I couldn't get past Bowser. I didn't want to
turn it off and have to go back to the beginning of the last stage so I
left it on overnight, and it fried the game cartridge!! I was SOO
ticked! I wound up having to buy another one online and then went all
the way back through all the levels and FINALLY defeated Bowser and
rescued the Princess!

Hey Art Thief, your work is beautiful! I had no idea you painted so well. I
hope you share some more of your work, but what's with the ninja stuff at
the bottom?

thank you so much, tea! i fell in love with painting and drawing in the 7th
grade and have been doing it ever since (when i have the time) whether it was
in HS art/art history classes (every year), the art history classes ive taken
in college, or on my own (the painting on the webpage). when i am finished
with this one (which i think will take about 4 more days bc i work a short
amount of time per day. i work best around 8-10pm and i dont know why), i will
post some of my other paintings as well.

as for the ninja stuff and snow monkeys...i put that up there for a friend who
likes to imitate ninjas. i thought hed find it funny. and the snow monkeys
are there bc he was building a snowman the other day and i wanted him to see
that there is nothing better than a snow monkey made with pretzels and raisins.

i update the page everynight so anyone can view its progression!

thanks again!

Are these done in water colors or oils? I love both, but am more partial to
water colors, I think. My hubby's cousin now lives in Philly and he is an
incredible artist. He is collecting big, very big dollars for his work now.
He used to teach art in college and then he got every guy's dream job. He
was teaching art and English at an all-girls school in Provance, France. But
he is settled down now and doing serious painting. I wish he lived closer so
we could enjoy his work more. I'll look forward to seeing more of your work,
too.
