Rebecca goes away permanently.
Olivia stops the Woe Is Me crap. Johnny stops thinking with his other
head.
Michael goes to jail and Sonny, Carly, Jax etc fail to prevent it.
Alexis gets a full-time boyfriend/husband.
Anthony Geary goes back to Copenhagen and stays there.
Yeah, I know, 0 for 6.
Liz can go but only if she takes both Lucky and Nikolas with her!!
> Rebecca goes away permanently.
I think we're actually going to get this wish.
> Olivia stops the Woe Is Me crap. Johnny stops thinking with his other

I really like them together but this tell/don't tell stuff is way past
getting old. And I'm afraid Sonny is going to wreck things anyway.
> Michael goes to jail and Sonny, Carly, Jax etc fail to prevent it.
Michael shouldn't go to jail because he did act in defense of his
mother and sister but I wouldn't mind if Sonny, Jason, and Carly all
go to jail for the coverup. Jax should get a big slap on the hand for
not stepping up.
> Alexis gets a full-time boyfriend/husband.
Agreed!
> Anthony Geary goes back to Copenhagen and stays there.
NO!!!!!
> Yeah, I know, 0 for 6.
I think we'll get 1 for 6 since Rebecca is leaving. The rest? Well, it
is the Sonny Show so the rest won't happen.

First, why are you all of a sudden "top posting"? Just curious.
You're right. Michael wasn't defending so much as reacting. I think he
would've, at most, been given probation and probably wouldn't have
even been charged. (This is Port Charles, after all.) But I think the
gang was protecting Michael from having to face ANY consequence from
the killing. Now, of course, he thinks he's a mobster so it's all
coming back to bite them in their respective butts.
PJ
The only one I agree with is Alexis gets a full-time boyfriend/husband.
All the others are continuing stories and need to continue in one way or
another.
I am awaiting the Olivia-Sonny hookup, and Sonny discovers Dante/Dominic
is a cop and your son story.
Anthony Geary goes away forever?? No Way! I love ever scene he is in,
and have for 40 yrs.
Cheers,
S.J.
Thanks,
Laura

OOPS! I'm so sorry. There's another Laura who's a long-time poster and
I mistook you for her. Her middle is initial is M so it was pure
carelessness on my part. I'll pay closer attention in the future. As
to the top-posting, some people get truly perturbed by it. I don't. I
only mentioned it because it was so out of character for the Laura I
thought you were. Anyway, welcome and I'm glad you're here. (It's just
easier to be reminded of the post you're replying to if it comes first
in your post. That way, the reader only has to skim the original to
know what you're talking about. If you post your reply first, there's
a momentary "Huh?" Seems a silly reason to become irked, but some
readers do.)

I was actually just hitting "reply to group" and typing in my reply not
really thinking of how or where it would land but I see your point. I just
find it confusing to scroll down through tons of messages to get to the new
one wayyyyy down at the bottom. I usually post through yahoo groups and
people get ticked if you leave the other posts in ...so many rules LOL
But I really like the newsgroup so I will try to remember to post in the
expected (by most) way. Thanks for letting me know :-)

I was thinking today while Sonny and Olivia were making goo-goo eyes at each

'the island,' buys her a dress, and rigs the roulette wheel so she wins!"
On my Christmas wish list is that we NOT see those scenes AGAIN!!

And it gets so tiresome that he's continuing to grow up believing that he
NEVER has to face the consequences of anything he does because Daddy and his
henchmen will always cover it up. I'm figuring he will be ordering hits on
people who insult him before he's out of high school.
Bleeaaaccchhhhh!

It is considered proper "netiquette" to cut out all the extraneous stuff and
then post your reply below the part to which you are responding. When you
top post and leave in the garbage, a reader has to glance at your post, then
scroll down through the rest of the stuff to figure out what you are talking
about, THEN scroll back up to read what you've written. In a really active
newsgroup (although atgh is not one) many people won't even bother. They'll
just skip on to the next post.
Thanks for asking.

LOL *I'M* the Laura she thought she was talking to! And, I don't top-post
for the reasons I just explained in my own response to you!
In today's episode Carly was shocked that Michael doesn't seem to know
(or care about) right from wrong. Is she crazy? He's spent his whole
life watching his father and Jason get away with MURDER, literally,
time and again. There is no right or wrong for him. He's a mini-
mobster already and whatever he wants is right. As for wrong, whoever
prevents him getting what he wants is wrong and a problem to be "dealt
with". His mother is shocked that he became this way?? Idiot.
PJ
I'm guessing he'll take care of Kiefer on his own once he sees him abusing
Kristina. And everyone will excuse it, of course, because Kiefer had it
coming
to him like Deke (sp?) - Sonny's stepfather did - all those years ago
when he
was abusive to Sonny's mother.

I don't think Michael should go to jail, either. Nor should Carly because I
doubt she was thinking straight after all she'd been through. And there is
the very accurate perception on her part that the law won't give her a fair
shake -- look what happened when she reported what Ric did to her! But
Sonny and Jason, Max and Milo and even Jax conspired to cover up a crime.

I think I'm over Alexis, too. I loved her for a long while, but frankly her
judgement is so flawed, and her self-righteousness is so overwrought that I
don't think I'd enjoy it.

Hey, Ruby, did you enjoy the scene between Liz and Rebecca at Liz's
house? I thought of you the whole time I was watching it! It took me a
while but I'm definitely in agreement with you about Liz now.

That was a great scene! It especially resonated when you remember that Liz
at one time made a habit of stalking Courtney and then jumping in her face
about being married to one brother (AJ) while being attracted to the other
(Jason). At that time, Liz was pretty good at the self-righteous,
holier-than-thou tirade and the bitch slap. I really wanted to see Rebecca
slap her silly. Maybe next time!

I'd vote for that.

Are you kidding? We begged for Emily to go away, then they killed her off
and we cheered! Then they brought her back in ghost-form, and we cheered
when Nik got his brain tumor/Emily removed. Then they brought her back in
the form of her identical twin sister. I don't believe we will EVER get
rid of her!

The only smart woman in Port Charles is Diane. She said yes to Sonny's
money and no to his dimples! She's got the amazing flexible Max in her bed,
and when she's done with him, he picks up his own underwear and goes home,
leaving her in her lovely, tastefully decorated (not that we've ever seen
it) apartment with her glorious wardrobe and a closet full of expensive
shoes!

It's a fine line as to whether Michael was actually defending anyone when he
killed Claudia, but at the very least, ALL of them deserve some jail time
for "obstruction of justice." They all lied, they are all covering up
Claudia's death.

She is one of many female characters who have been destroyed by the writers
of GH. Is there anyone left who hasn't slept with some guy that the act
didn't constitute legal adultery, cheating on a boyfriend, or just really
bad judgment?

See above. TPTB of GH obviously have a thing for NL, and I'm betting we
haven't seen the last of her. She isn't good enough of an actress to make
it in either film or primetime. In the words of "The Terminator,,"
"(She'll) be back!"
