1) Tommy Simmons. He was on MG'76 (the one off this weekend's WWOG on
GSN (game show hosts on MG ep. w/ Bill Cullen) and also on NTT in '84.
2) I don't know the woman's name, but she was playing opposite Marlena
(hyper Marlena on MG'74 who matched Morey Amsterdam for $5,000 and
lost her shoe) on MG'74 and then she was on BTB two years later.

"A-E-I-O-U...A-E-I-O-U"
Tony Ronato was a contestant on both "NYSI '89" and the 1990 "Gambit"
pilot (with Bob Eubanks). He was champion for at least 1 day on NYSI
and almost won the "Solo Game", but lost because he couldn't find Carl
Sagan's field of study (astronomy) on the board.
And what's even more painful was the fact that he had about 15
seconds to find it. The whole time, I knew where it was, and I was
scremaing at my TV, to no avail...

And don't forget then unknown Kirstie Alley was a contestant on both
Match Game and Password Plus!

But how could you forget Kurt's "Trivia Trap" appearance? You told me
that the sweater he wore on J! was the one he got on TT...:)

I received an e-mail about a month ago from Janet (she didn't give a
last name), but she was on Chuck and Susan's WoF, Scrabble, and most
recently, $hopping $pree. In fact, the $$ she was on was repeated
this past week (the one with Tony, the guy with the bad red toupee and
his hyperactive demeanor.)

The Beatmaster
Eeeek! That makes 6 shows total for Sharlene, the same number shared by
me... except _she_ did 6 of those _real_, _American_ game shows, whereas
I did 6 low-budget, provincial shows. I must respectfully bow. Sharlene,
you go, girl!
If it weren't for you lot, I would've happily forgotten about
him long ago!
There was this one contestant on $otC a while back (as opposed to the
Emmy-winning, ratings-record-setting $otC ep. that was shown on NBC
daytime yesterday. :^) ) whose name I think was Denise. She was one of
those people whose voice never matured with her age, so therefore she had
this cute, childish voice (Jim asked her to do an "outro" to a commercial.
I thought that was rather exploitative, but they all found it in good
fun.). I think she won at least one or two games (correct me if I'm Zach)
and she was a fun person who knew how to play the game.
Fast forward a few years to 1993: She appears on Trivial Pursuit; again,
in the center position. Wink doesn't go "ga-ga" over the voice like Jim
did, but once again, she proved to be a fun person who really knew how to
play the game. I think she won there as well . . .
Her occupation: Voice-over artist.
