I have been watching TattleTales since GSN has added it to the morning
lineup, and therefore, I have a couple of questions. First, this week
they had Phyllis Diller, and her husband Rip Taylor, and I saw
somewhere that Phyllis burps on the show backstage. It was something
like "Wel, if it were me I'd-BURRRRRRRRRRRP!" I noticed that wasn't
on this week. When was that episode and what was the question?
Secondly, do the losing sections get their money as the winners do? I
saw once where there was a 3 way tie and they split the $1000. Thank
you in advance.

The blooper in question occured on the 70s version, and GSN's airing the 80s
run. Also, Phyllis and Rip weren't married, just friends.

Yep.

The confusing thing is Phyllis appeared in the '70s episodes with her
then-husband, Ward Donovan, who at first glance, with his shaggy blonde hair
and mustache, looked quite a bit like Rip. Donovan, however, was built like a
linebacker.

That was who I originally thought Ward was when GSN used to run the "burp"
clip ad nauseum during breaks back in their infancy...definitely confusing.
