Anyone know when the GSN fall schedule is supposed to be released or what we
think will be on it?
Adam
**All those reruns---all those episodes---all those years on USA**
**AND I DIDN"T TAPE ONE PRESS YOUR LUCK EPISODE!!!!**
I know I'm praying for the following:
Password Plus at a reasonable time weekdays
Blockbusters (Cullen) at a reasonable time weekdays
Super Password
Card Sharks (Eubanks and Rafferty)
Family Feud (Ray Combs)
Later eps of Match Game (ie... later than 78... star wheel)
$25,000 Pyramid on weekdays again
$20,000 Pyramid (I'll settle for weekends)
Insanity takes its toll. Please have exact change.

>Password Plus at a reasonable time weekdays
I seriously doubt that.
>Blockbusters (Cullen) at a reasonable time weekdays
Rumor has it GSN may drop Blockbusters
>Super Password
That would be my ULTIMATE BIG BET! Tattletales and SP would run back-to-back
(a.k.a. The Bert Convy hour)
>Card Sharks (Eubanks and Rafferty)
Those may be on the weekends.
>Family Feud (Ray Combs)
GSN wants to run a clean network. Having wrestlers and half-naked women
(Playboy playmates) doesn't cut it. Although, I wouldn't mind the Playmates.
>Later eps of Match Game (ie... later than 78... star wheel)
That is also a possibility.
>$25,000 Pyramid on weekdays again
I'm not sure if GSN has the rights to those shows.
>$20,000 Pyramid (I'll settle for weekends)
I'm sorry, but those tapes are destroyed as well as the $10,000 Pyramid.
Incorrect. GSN aired The $20K Pyramid on weekends during the dark period.
A.
I doubt they will again.

Why? They've done it before..
> >Blockbusters (Cullen) at a reasonable time weekdays

I don't buy it. No one said that. I'm beginning to suspect that these little
"rumors" are just made up.
> >Card Sharks (Eubanks and Rafferty)

No one knows where/if they will show up.

What are you talking about? GSN ran Combs FF regularly before October 1997.
There is no reason for them not to run it.
> >$25,000 Pyramid on weekdays again

Uhhh...GSN OWNS THEM! That's not an excuse.
> >$20,000 Pyramid (I'll settle for weekends)

GSN has 260 episodes of the $20,000 Pyramid. They can run them.
J.F.
Still not totally correct--they aired them at 8am weekdays in the beginning
of the "Dark Period".
> >$25,000 Pyramid on weekdays again

They are showing them on the weekends right now, I don't think he was talking
about the Cullen shows.

WAIT a minute, they had the shows from 1978 to 1980. They were showing them
during the dark period.

I was looking in the Hollywood Reporter Production List today, and noticed that
several new originals are listed which will probably be squeezed into the
schedule (they also continued to list "Faux Pause"--oh, well). From the list,
Scott Sternberg is producing the clip show "As Seen On..." and "Gong Extreme,"
the new live "Gong Show" update. The better news is that Sande Stewart, Bob's
son, is producing "Inquisition" (which must be the new title for "None of the
Above"), the new studio contestant/interactive show *and* is working on a
revamped version of "Super Decades" (perhaps with studio contestants competing
with home viewers, as well). I'm glad to see that they have Sande (mentioned
by one of the GSC 8 guests as one of the only two people around who know how to
produce game shows) working on their shows.
However, Sande better not can Marianne--especially if he replaces her with
Nancy Sullivan.
Mark Jeffries--I swear on the soul of Dan Enright that these posts are correct.
A Match Game marathon on the weekends featuring some of the classic
shows from the MG 70s-'82 run would also be great, of course! I hope
someone with Sony/GSN is reading! LOL

I used to love that... they'd show all the different Pyramid's they have ($20K,
$25K, $100K) each day... and now, we only see $100K on weekdays and The $25K on
weekends... ::sigh::

If Nancy Sullivan were an ice cream flavor, she'd be flavorless.
Marianne Curan, of course, would be chocolate chip cookie dough. :)

That's a stupid move for GSN - they should put the $25,000 Pyramid in the
morning or afternoon and the $100,000 Pyramid during prime time. (And the
$20,000 Pyramid during late nights or weekends!)
- Jeremy If you think Reggie White is a jackass, gimme a HELL YEAH~!

Preferably weekends...easier for me to see :-)

Dude, you constantly talk about your "sources" but you make statements
that have no fact in them whatsoever. GSN has aired the playmate
episodes of Feud many times...and isn't GSN the network that still
airs "3's A Crowd"? There is nothing "dirty" about those FF episodes.
Jake
I'd like to see the 25k in the late afternoon, the 100k at the time slot now
or a bit later, and the 20k on the weekends, as you said......
Maybe Maybe Maybe the 20k will come back !!!!
#1: Try to add another 30 mins to the TTTT/WML? block that airs every
weekday, and add the Steve Allen version of "Ive Got A Secret". It's a
real shame that this version only airs once a week.
#2: Limit the Dating Game/Newlywed Game block to 1 Hour! i dont care
what you do, i just HATE these shows.
#3: Get Blockbusters in at an earlier time. After all, it is pretty
tough to stay awake at 4AM!
and...
#4: I know this is impossible, but use other movies for Silver Screen
Flashback! Not every classic movie is made by Columbia/Tristar!

That's because Steve Allen's 1972 IGAS lasted only one bloody season! About 26
episodes, so I wouldn't put it on the weekdays..

(flame retardant) As do I--what are they up to? Fifth or sixth go-around on
the '97 shows?

I'd say move the infomercials back an hour (and put Blockbusters and P+ on
at 7-8am EST), but then the schedule wouldn't work the way they want.

I think you know why they can't use anything but Columbia/TriStar movies.

I know they had some of them, cause I taped one in which they
accedently left the network commercials on it, one of which was a promo
for the pilot showing of "Mork and Mindy", which was in '78.
Did GSN ever get to the finale of the $20K Pyramid with Lois Needlemen and Bill
Cullen? Last one I saw before the end of the "Dark period" was with Didi Conn
and someone from '79

The 1972 "IGAS" was a weekly, and its episodes will burn out rather fast
if they're stripped. I'd rather see the Garry Moore version from the
50's and 60's with Bill, Bess, Henry and Betsy. This group of celebs
functioned as a panel longer than any other group on a G-T panel show
(from 1958-1967), and they really had lots of fun together, did they.

260 episodes of The $20K Pyramid exist in GSN's library (from mid 1978 on).
This has been stated repeatedly on atgs.
