Now it's time to build upon the money we made in Within 20 by playing the Hi/Lo round. The object of the hi/lo round is simple. For the
same three questions, I have now provided an average of all the responses
given in the Within 20 round. Your job is to tell me whether the actual answer is higher or lower than the average. If you are correct,
you win CY$50. Remember, it's the top 50% who get the chance to change their base card.
And now, let's play Hi/Lo...
Q u e s t i o n 1
We asked 100 people the following question:
"Have you smoked a cigarette in the past week?" Within 20, how many of the 100 said that they have?
*** The average for this question is 42. Is the actual answer HIGHER or LOWER than 42? ***
Q u e s t i o n 2
We asked 100 people the following question:
"When a person has a disease that cannot be cured, do you think doctors have the legal right to end the patient's
life, if the patient and his or her family request it?" Within 20, how many of the 100 said, "Yes?"
*** The average for this question is 50. Is the actual answer HIGHER or LOWER than 50? ***
Q u e s t i o n 3
We asked 100 people the following question:
"Do you believe in astrology, or that the position of the stars and planets can affect people's lives?"
Within 20... how many of them said "They do?"
*** The average for this question is 38. Is the actual answer HIGHER or LOWER than 38? ***
The Deadline for Within 20 is Saturday morning 11/15 at 10:59:59am Eastern time.
And as always, best of luck!
